Quick Navigation - Roster Download

For the majority of the operators RosterBuster supports a quick and easy duty roster download process powered by smart duty roster macro's. With these Smart Duty Roster Macro's we enable our RosterBuster users to download your airline's duty roster. You can see Smart Duty Roster Macro's as a web browser plugins that assists you to quickly navigate to the correct duty roster source page of your airline. RosterBuster has two methods with Smart Duty Roster Macro's:

Method 1. One Touch Duty or

Method 2. Quick Navigation Only 

Read below where we will explain the two methods in more detail.

Method 1: One Touch 

With this method the full duty roster download process is supported. This means the login, navigation to the correct duty roster source and upload of the duty roster source into the RosterBuster app.

To determine which roster download method is supported for your airline you can check the Roster Download section in the app. Here you can easily check if Smart Duty Roster macro's are active for your airline and which method we support.

1. Open the RosterBuster app

2. Go to More Menu

3. Go to Download Roster section of the menu

4. If you see One tap roster download text displayed it means this method is available for you.

5. If you want to make adjustments to the settings tap top right icon.

In the settings you have the following options.

- Explanation of the duty roster codes
- Enable or disable one touch duty roster navigation
- Reminder to update your duty roster, with one tap it starts the roster download from the notification
- Crew Portal details

After setting up properly you can download the duty roster with one touch feature.

Method 2: Quick Navigation Only 

With this method the duty roster download process is partly automated. You are required to manually login to the airline crew portal manually each roster download and after successful login we automatically navigate to the correct duty roster source supported for your airline. We will do our best effort to always add support for Method 1: One Touch Roster Download but this is technically not always possible.

To determine which roster download methods are supported for your airline you can check the Roster Download section in the app. Here you can easily check if Smart Duty Roster macro's are active for your airline and which method we support.

3. Go to Download Roster section of the menu

4. If you see Roster Download is partly automated text displayed it means this method is available for you.
